R.I.P Dave. Really sorry to hear this. He sold me the HRF spolier i have on my car today and going to collect it was a memorable drive to his place!

I hate this news :( :(

My goodness, really can't believe this is true! Spoke to Dave many a time on the phone, always had time for the many sometimes pointless questions.

A tragic loss to the Starlet community. My thoughts are with his family.

RIP Dave.

RIP My lovely x

You will be sorely missed but I hope you are up there telling him all about us xx

What would be awesome is for us to pull together if anyone knows more about anything we can do in rememberence I think that would be fantastic.

Will miss chatting and asking for advice :(

Very Stunned xx

RIP MR B, you were an inspiration to so many of us. you will be greatly missed by many, people who have never met you (like me) but have spoken to you a fair few times for advice and general car chit chat. you really are a legend and will not be forgotten, my thoughts are with your family. Please now go and rest with the "car gods"

I got word earlier and was dreading logging in to see this thread. Can't really believe it to be honest, such a shock for everyone..

Dave was one of the stars I remember from TGTT mk1 (over ten years ago) and even starletturbo.com (TGTT's predecessor). His sharp wit and technical knowledge made his posts stand out from the majority, he certainly livened the place up with both. In the years since he's been a commanding force behind some serious Starlet builds and I can see from the replies so far that he will leave a huge void behind. I regret never having the pleasure of meeting him in person. It is a very sad day for the whole Starlet community.

His family and friends have my thoughts, this time will pass.

RIP Legend.

A very say day for Dave's freinds and family and the thousands of people who he has helped with their cars over the years.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
