ive only been driving a year and a half so only 3cars. xr3i, 205gti and the starlet gt. in terms of handling and sheer fun the 205gti was fukin amazing only the 1.6 but certainly doesnt matter on the country roads wud still av it now if it was reliable.

My first was a Red 1974 VW beetle. Had a big ass sound system and upgraded it to a 1800 running with a 36 weber carb, suprised a lot of people. And taught me alot about cars, ha ha.

My fave would have to be my metallic blue 1996 short wheel base Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero GLS. 3l V6 with lotsa mods giving me about 300hp and lotsa fun.

Starlet comes in a close second though ;-)

Some good cars on here, seems most people like French cars then. I never once had a problem with my 'Willy'! Absolutely spot on car, I want it back and to be honest I do keep my eyes out for them over here as i'd love to buy another. I know there are some here and I occasionally see the odd R5 GTT up forsale (another car i'd like to own) but it would be hard, like picking between a Williams or an R32 GTR lol, if i had the williams i'd definately regret not buying the R32 and the same for many Jap cars.

The other main contenders in my line-up were the Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo and the MR2 Turbo I had. I will never buy Italian again, after a short ownership it decided to blow up and the repair charges were more than the cars value so I had to cut my losses and sell as scrap.

those short wheelbease 4x4s are lethal. drove an short wheelbase isuzu trooper and it was dangerous on corners and the suspension when you accelerate and brake was comical.

Yes dude, it had an hybrid turbo on it and once boost came on it sounded foul!! Certainly another car with a nice soundtrack, it was a step up from previous hot hatches and I did like it, so refined inside and it felt like it was quality but the handling wasn't so great and once on boost it pulled me across the road on more than a few occasions.

Its funny that alot of yous like clios, there the main hot hatch compation round my parts. I had a 205, a sr starlet, ep85 and now the glanza. Best for me was the ep85 all day long, i have some great memories from that car. Id like to get a ep95 now, maybe when the exchange rate sorts its self out. Heres a pic of the way it should have stayed.

Best car ive drove is a 2007 impreza sti, comfortable and fast out of the box.

I never really liked the clio's, I still think they look a bit gay/like a girls car even though i now own one :haha:, the way they drive and handle makes up for the looks however.
But as far as engineering goes, the french certainly know how to make a good hot hatch.

Ha ha, serves you right for driving IZUZU. :haha:

All depends on what you used to and the set up of the car.... I grew up with 4x4's and my dad used to rally, so I can put my Mitsubitchi sideways through a turn on a gravel road at 130km/h without anybody wetting themselves (ok, most people).

Havent really owned that many cars but the only real good ones are my EK9 and starlet. The starlet is my favourite as its too much fun to drive and ive owned it for so many years...

I had alot of fun in my clio 1.4RT back in the day. I have much good memories in that car.

Had a saxo VTR which i really did enjoy back in the day when they were fairly new cars.
