4efe or 4afe box + 4efte in a Corolla E11?

The clutch will be bolted to the flywheel which leads to the difference between 4efe and 4efte. (Turbo has a larger flywheel with different bolt pattern).

So basically you should be using a turbo clutch no matter the gearbox choice. The 4efe flywheel would be a weak point on a turbo application.

Would opt for a Blueprint clutch (used them in the past). Parts code for the clutch kit is ADT33099.

Hi @Jay @SKINY

Do you think you can help me find a connector map with pin description like the one linked above for the COROLLA E11 4efe 1.3? I need to match the 4efte ep91 glanza engine bay loom from with the cabin bay fuse box Corolla E11 females panel. I found one for the ECU but it’s not enough.

I hope that you can help. I need to start on Monday.

I have looked until my eyes are square but can't seem to find anything online. I don't have any Corolla workshop manuals here unfortunately.

No luck in the Corolla clubs?

Paul woods at woodsports would be worth getting in touch with Frankie, he does all sorts of Toyota engine swaps and makes custom looms, he has done a few for mates here, 2zz swap into a mk1 mr2 plug and play loom was 400£

Same here. I found the Corolla workshop but it has only diagrams. It doesn’t have connectors pictures with pin colors to help me compare the two sides.

The letters next to the lines denotes the colour on those diagrams.

Nice find although I'm a bit wary - my anti virus doesn't seem too happy about the download lol

This trusted. I downloaded it from Bill Gates computer. :) by the way my brother works as an IT on major infrastructure‘s. His network of colleagues discussed the fact that antivirus haven’t been updated since months. It is the dark winter coming? A little joke out of topic

I just got the bad news that the fly wheel I ordered from England isn’t bigger than 200 mm. The clutch I ordered is correct but the fly wheel is not. The guys from the shop told me that the deal only with the turbo engines so that must be it. I measured it and we already repaired it ready to be mounted. Now I am stuck! Do you have a few reinforced 200 mm clutch kits to suggest that maybe I can buy here in Italy?

I only know of exedy, there might be some TRD clutches out there but these will be expensive. Pretty sure your only option would be exedy stage 1 or higher depending on your needs. With a bit of research you might be able to source one within Europe, but I think this will not be possible?

This one(driftshop is within Europe based in France when I last checked):

Thank you. Unfortunately the FTE Engine one is distributed only in England. This means that there every clutch I find on the Internet comes from the UK. Today I was able to fix the issue about the flywheel I bought. They are going to send me the correct one hopefully within Friday. Then I might be able to use my new 215 mm clutch.
