aaaaand back to the drawing board.
thought i had fixed the problem but it's still there.
it's not the ecu, swapped for another ecu als problem remains.
flushed coolant system and thought i solved the problem but it returned after a bit of a drive.
thought it was the pcv valve, checken, swapped and that's not it either.
symptoms:
*start car*
rus fine, idle is normal.
start driving, warming up the car till cooling system and oil is at 80 degrees
idle remains fine
floor the car for a bit of a stretch (2 miles) and step on the clutch
idle bounces from 1k revs to 1.5k revs for a while and after about 30 secs it runs 2k revs steady.
odd thing is, i turn off the car and start it again, idle rises to 2k revs and then dies down to normal 1k and remains there.
after flooring the car for 2 miles again the same thing starts all over again.
i'm at a loss... anyone got any idea's?
doubt it has anything to do with the coolant because turning car off and on won't change the coolant temp in 3 seconds.
can it be a sensor fault? if so, which one?
