Cheers people, yea the car just crumbled, honeslty if you saw his car you would have thought he reversed into a trolley at a supermarket.

It may be jig able but i am unsure how much all the new pannels and front end parts wold cost i wold have to take some more pics. Somehow i feel the life of this car is over. :(

Looks quite bad dude. has it actually damaged chassie?
Do you have to leave it as it is before the insurance look at it or could you start repairing/striping it.

good luck with the insurance.

Well i dont want them to take it away and risk the chance of loosing my precsious stuff so will strip as much as i can as i really cant afford to loose all the stuff i have got on it.

its hard to know mate . a mate of mine had his turbo mx5 wrote off he got given good money for the car and got to keep it too he ended up making about 500 pounds more than the car was worth .

Did you declared the carbon wings and all the mods with the insuarnce? Does your policy cover like for like on mods and did you have market value or agreed value for your car? Your policy book will tell you all these. Really sorry to see this happen to you mate. Hope the other guy gets raped by his insurance.

Yeah i did declare most things, i just dont want them to take it away and me loose out on any of the bits thats all. Yeah my neck hurts a little slight wiplash, i may have to go to the doctor in all fairness,

Thanks again for all the comments :), all bits will go onto the next project.

If anyone knows anyone selling a GT cheap let me know.

Do you think the insurance company wil let you buy the car off them?

Because will all them mods you will never get the cash back on them or i dont think you will new to makin a claim so just what i heard.

if that is the case mate need any help swappin parts bk to std just let me know!

shit dude i'm really sorry to hear this, i know exactly how you feel. the insurance company will try and screw you over on the ammount that they will pay you, DONT LET THEM DO THIS, you will need to print off at least 12 adverts proving that your car is worth more. Also make them aware that you want the car back as soon as you can, and you will prob have to keep on at them (i have had to, mines been going on for 6.5 weeks now and still no sign of ending)

also good luck finding a decent second hand starlet, there seems to be only crap about at the mo. see my fed up thread.

p.s, they will ony let you buy it back if it is a cat c or d write off.
